MoCo Annual Meeting - Coming up October 19th!

Please join us for the Annual Member-Owner Meeting on Wednesday, October 19th, 6:00-8:00 p.m at the Peoples Academy Cafeteria (202 Copley Avenue, Morrisville). Member-owners will vote on the election of directors, approve the minutes from the 2015 Annual Meeting and will hear about recent progress, next steps and the future of MoCo. Bring your questions and ideas. The success of your co-op depends on your involvement!

The meeting is open to the public. You may join the co-op at the meeting if you are not already a member-owner. If you cannot attend, you may submit an absentee ballot. For more information email

MoCo's Board has two openings and are looking for a couple of committed MoCo Member-Owners to fill those slots!

Specifically, we are looking for member-owners with experience in the fields of legal, marketing, accounting and fundraising. The MoCo Board is a group of MoCo member-owners who are dedicated and passionate about getting a food cooperative up and running in downtown Morrisville. Our co-op will be a welcoming space for the community to gather around a diverse selection of local, organic, and high quality foods. And when you walk in, it won’t be just another store; it will be OUR store!

    Thank you and an update!

    Hello Friends, Thank you for all your recent support, time and energy. Our Member Loan Campaign raised $195,000 and we still have some pending pledges so we may very well go over $200,000 by the end of the month. Over 15 volunteers made this possible - including many of you! This is an amazing result and we should all feel really good about it!

    July 2 is International Day of Co-ops!

    Press release by Neighboring Food Co-op Association - On Saturday, July 2nd, co-ops in our community and around the world will be celebrating the International Day of Co-operatives, joining the United Nations (UN) and the International Co-operative Alliance (ICA) in a commemoration that began in 1923.  This year's theme, “Co-operatives: The Power to Act for a Sustainable Future,” highlights the contribution of co-operative enterprise to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.
